For the 4th year, the CSU Equine Sciences Program will be offering a horse judging short course on February 27th, 2010 at 8 a.m. at the CSU Equine Center. This is a GREAT one day program that will include instruction on judging and placing horse show classes, instruction from professional horse show judges, and access to horse judging resources.  In conjunction with the horse judging short course will be held the 2010 Colorado State 4-H Horse Show Judges Testing Session.  If you would like to be added to the Colorado State Approved 4-H Horse Show Judges List, this is your ONLY chance this year! Registration is limited and must be received by February 24th.

New 2009 4-H Horse Classic DVD

Colorado State University continues to be at the forefront of Judging Contest DVD Development!!!  The 2009 National 4-H Horse Classic Judging Contest is now available on one educational DVD.  The DVD contains 3 halter and 6 performance classes from the 2009 contest, plus official placings.  Click below for more information and an order form.

Sample Reasons DVD 

This DVD contains sample reasons from each of the classes on the 2007 National 4-H Horse Classic Judging DVD (also available from CSU). Reasons are provided by a National Champion CSU Horse Judging Team. Great for teaching and coaching!!
